The company and its subsidiaries is a single-source supplier of a total range of process control equipment, and field and control room instrumentation.  They are recognized throughout the process and manufacturing industries for their process applications knowledge, project engineering and control system integration.  They required assistance to create a viable, clearly articulated and unifying corporate strategy.

We were asked to educate their management on the strategic planning process, facilitate the “first-run” strategic planning process, develop a customized strategic management process that the company can use in the future, and provide ideas for communicating strategy and metrics to the entire organization.  The key tasks were to facilitate the corporate strategic planning team in the assessment of environmental driving factors, evaluation of internal factors/core competencies, identification and prioritization of opportunities, and development of action/implementation plans. The planning process was implemented and used annually.
