This organization is an independent, not-for-profit, federally approved, health care quality improvement organization. They are contracted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to create and enhance programs, services, and collaborative relationships that improve healthcare quality in states of Tennessee and Arkansas. They initiated a new strategic planning process and we were contracted to facilitate the development of a strategic plan to achieve its corporate mission.

The key tasks were to facilitate the corporate strategic planning team in the assessment of environmental driving factors, evaluation of internal factors/core competencies, identification and prioritization of opportunities, and development of action/implementation plans. During implementation of the strategic plan, we were asked to facilitate reorganization of the company to align the organization to the new strategic plan.
